Rajeev became heart throb of girls with his performance in Kahi To Hoga and is still called and identified as Sujal. He has also played major role in Left, Right, Left and has also hosted the show Sach Ka Samna which is the Indian version of the show in USA named The Moment of Truth. Rajeev always dreamt of being an actor and also modeled for LML, Green Label Whisky, Kodak Express and Videocon refrigerators.

He was recently in Limelight with his latest film Shaitaan in which he was portraying the character torn between the good and some bad. He bagged appreciation for playing the role of DJ Raunak Kaul in Soundtrack

But the fame Rajeev attained through Kahinn To Hoga is commendable and noteworthy as he was the charmed of those times. He was probably the best thing ever happened to Ekta Kapoor and he was also the apple of everyone’s eye. He did many projects acted and performed in ads too but his performance in Kahin To Hoga couldn’t be substituted.
