Lakshmipathy Balaji has been an Indian Cricketer who made his debut in 2003 where India played a test match against Newzealand in Ahmedabad. Soon after he became the member of Indian cricket team and also toured Australia in late 2003.
And soon came the purple patch when he accompanied the team in Pakistan for test and ODI series in 2004, he successfully proved all his credibilities and outshone his talent in front of the whole world and most memorable was the sixes he hit on the bowling of Shoaib Akhtar.
However soon after the entrance of Greg Chappell as Indian’s coach Balaji was excluded from the team like many other cricketers as Mohd. Kaif and since that time he has been working hard to get his place back in the team.
