Chiranjeevi is a film actor and a politician. He has primarily appeared in Telugu Cinema along with some Tamil and Hindi movies. After completing his B.Com in 1976, he moved to Chennai and joined the Film and Television Institute of Tamil Nadu to complete a diploma in acting.
He is popularly known as the megastar in the media. He made hi acting debut in “Punadhirallu” in 1997, though his first release was “Pranam Khareedu”. He received the second Filmfare Award for his movie “Punnami Naagu”.
He started a political party in 2008 named Praja Rajyam in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He has also founded the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, which includes Chiranjeevi blood and eye banks.
