Famously known as Anandi of small screen, Avika Gor began her acting career in 2008, with the show Balika Vadhu, based on child marriages, which commenced its journey on newly launched show Colors TV. Soon after, she became a household name as the show turned out to be a major hit.
However, after the show took a leap of five years in 2010, Avika was replaced by Pratyusha Banerjee. She was also seen in Kitchen Champions on Colors TV, where she played herself. Meanwhile small screen is not the only limit for Avika, as she has also been seen in movies such as Tezz and Paathshala.
She has won several awards such as New Talent Award, Rajiv Gandhi Award and Indian Telly Award 2008 for Best Child Actor(Female) and Best new Fresh face. Currently she can be seen playing Roli Siddhanth Bharadwaj in Colors’ show Sasural Simar Ka.
